FRS Welcomes Senator Daylin Leach to the Pension Roundtable

Senator Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery) from the 17th legislative district will participate in FRS Capital Management’s Municipal Pension Roundtable on October 28, 2010.
The Senator will address the potential impact of state budget issues on state and local pension funding. He will be prepared to listen to municipal management, municipal plan participants and municipal elected officials about pension issues that may need to be addressed legislatively.
We have worked with Senator Leach in the past on addressing the impact of the Act 30 Killed In Service liability on municipal police pension plans. Currently, through Act 51, this liability can now be passed to the state’s general revenue account.
